The JEE results are out. It has been established beyond a doubt, this year's JEE was much tougher. A score of 227/401 (Mine) got me a rank of AIR 2631 (GEN). This translates to roughly 272/480, which would have got a rank of around 4000. So much for the people who said the paper was easier!

Its a mistake. Short and Sweet. Those who take a drop are under the misguided notion that IIT is the only way to success. THIS IS UNTRUE. BITS-Pilani as well as NITs such as Surathkal, Trichy, Warangal etc. are all doing well. Not as well as any IIT, of course, but still rather well. Use your AIEEE or BITSAT score instead of risking a year for IIT.

physics standard has increased a lot in BITSAT compared to last year....most of the questions are being concentrated from magnetism and rotational mechanics....chemistry and maths have become easier this time...so go through the BASICS and CONCEPTS before attempting the exam......keep cool, Be confident.ALL THE VERY BEST

Union Minister for Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal on Friday said the pattern of Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam IIT-JEE, 2013, was being changed so that students do not get away from school scholastic system.According to the new scheme being finalized, 40 per cent marks will be based on the school board exam results.
