In the middle of the year, usually in the first week of June, the admission procedure for various courses in the first year of Delhi University gets started. In order to get admission in one of the colleges, one is required to pass the qualifying examination i.e. the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of CBSE Board or any other equivalent standard examination. Following are some of the requisite documents while getting admission in the college:
• Character and migration certificates from the institution last attended
• Certificate of date of birth
• Subject-wise mark-sheet of the last public examination
• SC/ST certificate where applicable
• Medical fitness and participation certificates for admissions on the basis of sports and extra-curricular activities
