As for ur question i believe A is ethanal (ox of ethene) and B is propan-2-ol (Grignard reaction)
Ethene on reaction with MCPBA will first give ethylene oxide (A), which on further reaction with methyl magnesium iodide followed by hydrolysis will give n-propyl alcohol.
