Delhi University  (DU) has announced the results of the B.Com. (Hons) Part I (I Semester) - North & South Campus end semester examinations, which concluded only three weeks back, thereby creating history by announcing results so quickly.

The varsity has also announced that it will declare the results of the rest exams by December 31, 2011.

Prof. Dinesh Singh, DU's Vice-chancellor said that these were the quickest results that the varsity has ever announced. It was a centralized and participatory process that involved thousands of teachers, who worked even on Sundays to get the results ready.

Singh further added that one of the biggest oppositions to the semester system was the anticipation that results would not be released on time because of the immense pressure on the system, but now they have proved them wrong. This is a record as never in the history of DU results have been declared so promptly, he said.
