The Bangalore University has invited applications for admissions to the following undergraduate, postgraduate, PG diploma, diploma and certificate courses under distance education for the academic year 2011-12:
Correspondence courses: BA (Kannada medium), BCom and BBA (English medium only), MA (Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu) MA (History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology) (English and Kannada medium), MA (Philosophy), MCom and MSc (Mathematics) (all in English medium only).
External courses: MA (Sanskrit, French).
Open University courses: BA (Kannada / English medium), BCom (English medium only), PG Diploma in Translation in Hindi, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Marketing Management, Rural Development), Diploma in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics (English medium only), Certificate courses in Kannada, Nutrition and Dietetics (English medium only).

Students will have to remit Rs 350 towards processing fee at any one of the BangaloreOne/KarnatakaOne centres. Those applying for admission to II and III year UG degree courses under correspondence and distance education, should apply online after remitting the processing fee.
The last date for submitting the applications without fine is January 13 and with a penal fee of Rs 100 it is January 20. The admission process will get over by January 29.
