Well, you need to give yout utmost to the prepartion, all you need is hard work and total decidateion towards achieving your goal. If doing well in CAT is your goal, you need to focus your time and efforts on preparation. Most people, when asked on the one thing that has contributed most to their success would probably say ‘focus’.

To give you a rough indicator, two to three hours a day should be sufficient. But more than the time you spend, what is really important is how much you can take out of your study time. So priority should be on quality study rather than hours you spend for your preparation. So go ahead and start your preparation.
