uiet will be much better ,i have watched its campus which will complete in within a six months.
if u think about placement i assure u that during ur time its placement will be really good...........and the most imp think is that u have a chance to take ece

i live in chandigarh and i knw how good uiet is as compared to uiet
people so worried about branch have no idea what they are saying

friends , i have checked the site of Thapar regarding placement data , they have not posted 2007-08 data , but the data for previous years posted is just average except in one or two cases. UIET , I have heard about but do not know its placement data. But pple say it is also a good college

I wud say ECE at UIET because it is a gud branch & also UIET is supported by Infosys & many other companies so placements is not a big deal.

I wud say ECE in UIET .. tat is better .. branch has a major role to play in getting a proper job
